John Schneider, James Best and Rick Hurst reunite for the filming of a new movie! Killer Shrews can prove "Hazzardous" to your health - and you are not going to see the General Lee running from Killer Shrews in a patrol car anytime soon. However - you will find a "Dukes of Hazzard" reunion of sorts in the upcoming film "Return of the Killer Shrews". This sequel to the 1959 sci-fi cult classic begins shooting in Los Angeles in early June and is set to star THREE ORIGINAL CAST MEMBERS of "The Dukes of Hazzard".
The original black and white film featured James Best, who would later go on to play "Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane" on the "Dukes" television series. Reprising his famous role as two fisted Sea Captain Thorne Sherman over 50 years later, James will appear alongside fellow cast members John Schneider (Bo Duke) and Rick Hurst (Deputy Cletus Hogg). While the "Killer Shrews" are a long way from Hazzard - fans from around the world anticipate a chance to see the reuniting of original actors for the first time since 2000's "Hazzard in Hollywood". John had to juggled his schedule to participate - but was not going to miss a chance to reunite with his castmates and life long friends. Yeee Haaa and look out for those shrews!
